Newsletter A – 2 Am I alone in having experienced joint discomfort and pain from working out? My guess is – no. Joint discomfort to varying degrees seems rampant in the gym. A few years ago my shoulders were literally trashed (one required reconstructive surgery, the other one should have but I opted out), my elbows were shot. And my lower back was requiring too many trips to the chiropractor. I even needed help getting dressed. I could not get a shirt on and off. Sleep was at best an adventure in avoiding rolling onto a shoulder. While on one of my California training forays, a world renowned martial artist was stretching out my shoulder before a workout. The resulting pain caused me to collapse on the floor like dead weight dropping. I either had to give up martial arts and training or find a way to heal myself. My new work The Complete
Guide to Lifelong Kettlebell Training includes mane
of the workout strategies that helped me to become pain
free. Log onto
