Kettlebell Opus – Newsletter #11 Sometimes we fall into a rut in our training. We may
just go through the motions with a lack of energy and
enthusiasm. How can we regain that enthusiasm and get
back to productive and progressive workouts?
A workout strategy to consider is *Escalating Density
Training or EDT. Pavel Tsatsouline calls EDT “. . . the
most foolproof method of building muscle I have ever
seen.”
The basic principles are simple. Sets and reps of
exercise(s) must be completed in a specific time period
referred to as a PR Zone. One must work harder on
successive workouts, not longer. This translates into
greater training intensity and more productive workouts.
EDT training will help give a focus to your kettlebell
training and provide quantifiable results.
