    Welcome to the Kettlebell Opus Newsletter. Each week the newsletter will contain information related to kettlebell training. This information will cover every thing from basic to advanced exercises and techniques to specific types of training and training protocols. Anything relevant to kettlebell training can and will be presented. Having said that, please email me with any questions or comments as these may serve as topics for future letters.     No matter a person’s training goals – building strength, toning the body, dropping body fat, developing cardio fitness, increasing flexibility, etc. – kettlebell training will help attain those goals.

    When purchasing a kettlebell, it is, of course, best to locate someone or some facility and find what weight will work best to get you comfortably started. Depending on weight and strength levels, men should choose from 36, 44, or 53 lb. bells – women from 10, 18, 0r 26 lbs.

    The next letter will address the most fundamental and basic of exercise – the swing.
